Grace and the "Dead Pen Technique"

Color Pencil Assemblage, 24" x 20"

The Dead Pen Technique:  With a "dead" ballpoint pen, press into a soft drawing surface then draw over with a flat tipped color pencil, leaving the indented valley uncolored.  The end result resembles the texture of a woodcut print.
