Testing: one, two, three...

My wife has been strongly urging me to explore the potential of the new social mediums.  So here goes - my first blog and post. 

The idea is to establish this site as a sketchbook or diary representing my thoughts as I go through the creative process of making art.  As a resident artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, my studio is open to the public and people are encouraged to watch me work and ask questions.  I think it will be interesting to see if opening up and sharing online will work and how it will influence my art.
